My reason for this career path was quite personal; I saw that many members of my own family, as well as friends, were not getting the kind of help they needed to plan financially for the future. I was confident that with my understanding of personal finance, coupled with my training as a financial professional, I could help people better prepare for the future.
I graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Psychology. After a few years in the workforce I returned to school and received an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the University of North Texas. I hold Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 registrations through United Planners Financial Services and am licensed in Texas to sell life insurance and annuities. I continued my education by becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (tm) professional.
After over 30 years in the business, I have developed a reputation for educating individuals in an easy-to-understand manner so they can grasp personal finance ideas and use those concepts to pursue their financial objectives.
I live in Dallas with my husband, Rich and 2 sons. In our spare time we enjoy travel, reading, and visiting with family. I have been a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church for life and met my husband in the singles class many years ago. We are involved in the Lake Highlands community and feel a commitment to this area of Dallas.
